This boosts the range to 187.5-500mm or 375-1000mm in full-frame format. This is an incredible feature that opens up doors for any photographer who needs that extra range without having to attach a separate teleconverter. The lens is fitted with a high-speed imager autofocus system (MSC) and a high-performance 5-axis sync image stabiliser which is capable of providing up to 8 EV steps of compensation.
