Cancellations

  a. Cancellation or Change of Item Before Dispatch

  • Orders may be cancelled or modified at any time before dispatch without fees. If you wish to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • Modifications: Any price adjustments due to a modification must be settled before dispatch:
    • If you choose a higher-priced item, the additional amount must be paid before dispatch.
    • If the modified item costs less, a refund for the difference will be processed back to your original payment method within approximately 7 working days.

b.Cancellation After Dispatch

If an item has already been dispatched, cancellation will fall under our Returns and Refunds policy. The customer must accept the delivery and then follow the return process as outlined below in accordance with our 14-day money-back guarantee.

Returns and Refunds & Exchange

When requesting a return, please specify whether you prefer a Refund, Replacement, or Exchange.

a.14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers are entitled to a 14-day money-back guarantee for online purchases. You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without providing a reason. While providing a reason for return is optional, it helps us improve our service and product offerings. This period begins the day after your item is delivered, as confirmed by the courier or tracking information.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@camerasdori.com within the 14-day period to receive the necessary return instructions. Returns sent without prior notice may be rejected and returned to the sender. CamerasDori is not responsible for any costs associated with unapproved returns.

Please note that any faulty items reported after the 14-day return period will fall under our Warranty Policy, where applicable.

  • Return Timeframe: Once we have confirmed your return request, the item must be shipped back to the dedicated address within 14 days. Failing to meet this timeframe may result in forfeiture of your right to a refund or exchange.
  • Condition of Returns: Items being returned must be in their original, unused condition, complete with all packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • Refund Processing: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

b.Return Shipping Costs

  • Unless an item is faulty or was shipped incorrectly, customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. CamerasDori does not provide return labels for such cases, and customers should arrange and pay for their own shipping.
  • To ensure the safe return of your items, we strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. This helps safeguard against potential loss or damage during transit, as CamerasDori cannot be held liable for any items lost, damaged, or delayed while en route to our facility.
  • Once shipped, customers must provide CamerasDori with the tracking number to confirm the return is in progress. Only items shipped to the return address we provide will be accepted. Returns sent to other locations may be refused, and CamerasDori is not responsible for any associated costs.

c.Condition and Inspection of Returns

  • Items being returned must be in original, unused condition, complete with all packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • Upon receipt, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets return conditions. If an item shows handling or use beyond standard inspection, a refund reduction of up to 30% may apply to account for the diminished resale value.

d.Restocking Fees for Opened or Used Items

Items returned with signs of handling, use, or without their original packaging and accessories may incur a restocking fee of up to 30%. This fee accounts for the reduced resale value of opened or used products. Restocking fees are applied at our discretion based on the item’s condition upon inspection and will be deducted from the final refund amount.

e.Items Not Eligible for Return

Certain items may not qualify for return if they have been used, altered, or otherwise affected in a way that impacts resale value. Non-returnable items include, but are not limited to:

f.Refund, Replacement, or Exchange Options

  • Refund
    If you choose a refund, CamerasDori will issue it within 7 days of completing the inspection. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method, including the standard delivery charge (if applicable). If an expedited delivery option was selected, only the standard delivery rate will be refunded.
  • Replacement
    For items that arrived damaged or defective, you may opt for a replacement. Upon inspection and verification of the issue, CamerasDori will send a new item of the same make and model to replace the defective product. This replacement service is only available for items with verifiable issues upon delivery and is not an option for general returns due to personal preference or a change of mind.
  • Exchange
    If you wish to exchange the returned item for a different product, you may do so, provided the item is in brand-new, unused condition
  • After Inspection: You may select an alternative product from our inventory.
  • Price Adjustment:
    • Higher-Priced Items: The customer will need to pay the additional amount.
    • Lower-Priced Items: Refunds for the difference will be issued back to the original payment method.
  • Single Exchange Per Order: Only one exchange per order is allowed, subject to availability.
