Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

CamerasDori is dedicated to providing reliable support for the products we sell. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, our Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer repair, replacement, or other solutions. This policy applies to purchases made through camerasdori.com.

 

Standard Warranty

  • All cameras and lenses purchased from CamerasDori come with an 18-month in-house warranty, managed directly by CamerasDori and covering defects in materials and workmanship attributable to the manufacturer. This warranty is independent of the original manufacturer’s warranty. (Note: CamerasDori does not offer any warranty extension options beyond the standard 18-month coverage period.)
  • To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact CamerasDori via email at info@camerasdori.com. This is the only official channel for submitting warranty requests. Please include your order number, purchase details, and a description of the issue.

 

Warranty Limitations

This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable to other individuals or entities, unless explicitly authorized in writing by CamerasDori.

Warranty Term

The 18-month warranty period begins on the delivery date, as confirmed by courier tracking or other valid proof of delivery provided by courier.

 

Coverage for Manufacturer Defects

Our warranty covers only manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. For qualifying defects, we will offer a repair or replacement at our discretion.


Exclusions from Coverage

  • Firmware and Software Limitations
    CamerasDori does not guarantee compatibility of firmware or software with future updates or third-party modifications. Issues arising from firmware or software upgrades performed by the customer are also not covered under this warranty. Any improper installation, incompatible updates, or user errors during the upgrade process that lead to functionality issues or faults are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Focus Calibration for Third-Party Lenses
    Calibration issues with third-party lenses (e.g., Tamron, Sigma, Tokina) are not covered and may require additional adjustments by the customer.
  • Normal Wear and Tear
    General wear, including dust on sensors/viewfinders, hot or dead pixels, or worn components (e.g., ports, battery covers) are not covered beyond 14 days after delivery.
  • Physical or Non- Physical Damage
    This warranty excludes any accidental damage, including exposure to excessive humidity, corrosion, extreme temperatures, or other environmental conditions.

Pre-Approval for Warranty Repairs

All repairs require pre-approval from CamerasDori to be covered. Repairs done without prior consent may not qualify under our warranty terms. Repairs conducted by third-party service providers, unless explicitly authorized by CamerasDori, are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Repairs

  • Repairs can be conducted at our authorized repair centers or another qualified service center. We will work with customers to find the most suitable repair solution to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Any issues reported after the 14-day return window will be addressed through the warranty process. Refunds are only eligible within the initial 14-day period.

 

Factory Reset Requirement

Some repairs may involve resetting the product to its factory settings. CamerasDori is not liable for loss of settings or data; we advise customers to back up any data before sending a product for repair.

 

Shipping for Warranty Repairs

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, including any customs duties or taxes, when sending products for warranty repairs. We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping method to ensure the item’s safety during transit, as CamerasDori is not liable for any loss or damage incurred during shipping.

Repair, Replacement, or Refund

Based on the nature of the defect, CamerasDori may choose to repair or replace the product. A refund will only be offered if neither repair nor replacement is feasible. This decision is at the discretion of CamerasDori and will be based on the availability of parts, the extent of the defect, and other relevant factors.

 

Non-Repairable Products

If a product is deemed irreparable and is no longer in production, CamerasDori may provide a replacement with comparable specifications or issue a refund of the original purchase price. If no comparable replacement is available, a refund will be issued to support the purchase of a similar product.
