This lens offers a versatile 80mm standard focal length which is equivalent to a 63mm in 35mm full-frame format. A complex and advance lens structure sees 10 glass elements in 8 groups, which includes one aspherical element and two Super ED elements. This structure, combined with a wide, fast and bright maximum F1.7 aperture, allows you to capture beautifully clear, crisp and dramatic images in almost any situation. In addition, this lens also supports Face/Eye AF, using an advanced focusing algorithm which accurately acquires focus on your subject's face or eye, even if they're moving.
